§ V. "R-2" Duplex and multiple-family dwelling district use regulation.

In any "R-2" second residential district, the following uses only are permitted:

(1)

Duplex or multiple-family dwellings.

(2)

Apartment houses.

(3)

Boardinghouses, lodginghouses and roominghouses.

(4)

Hospitals, excepting tubercular, liquor, narcotic, insane and feebleminded or animal hospitals.

(5)

Private clubs, fraternities, sororities and lodges excepting those, the chief activity of which is a service customarily carried on as a business.

(6)

Institutions of a religious, educational or philanthropic nature.
