§ 32. Water mains.

32-1

All water distribution mains shall be pipe (recommended local standard), installed in conformance with the specifications of the city. Other suitable material may be used when authorized by the city engineer.

32-2

The minimum size of lateral water mains shall be six (6) inches in diameter.

32-3

All principal mains shall be of sufficient size to meet all anticipated requirements of the system as determined by the city manager.

32-4

The layout of mains shall assure two-way flow at all points in the system, with the exception of extensions on cul-de-sacs and other deadends approved by the city engineer.
