§ 40-68. Connection to new lines required; time limited; charges.

Where city sewerage services are not presently available, but subsequently are laid therein as set out in section 40-67, it shall be the duty of the owner or occupant of the property within 60 days after the services become available, to connect therewith. These connections must be made subject to the applicable charges provided by the then current ordinances of the city. All persons within the city limits and within 50 feet of the city sewer system will be charged the prevailing sewer system user charge.
