§ 18-42. Standard Housing Code adopted.

There is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations controlling the use, maintenance and occupancy of all dwellings, dwelling units or structures within the area of jurisdiction of the city the Standard Housing Code, being particularly the 1988 edition, as published by the Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc. One copy of such code is filed in the city clerk's office. It is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this section.
