§ 12-101. Control of escaping gas.

Latest version.

No person engaged in the drilling and operation of an oil or gas well within the city limits shall permit unburned gas to escape into the air, or to maintain a torch for the burning of such gas at a lesser distance than 40 feet from the surface of the ground.
