§ 12-101. Control of escaping gas.

  • No person engaged in the drilling and operation of an oil or gas well within the city limits shall permit unburned gas to escape into the air, or to maintain a torch for the burning of such gas at a lesser distance than 40 feet from the surface of the ground.
