§ 12-62. Application.

  • (a)

    Any person desiring to drill or operate a well for oil or gas within the corporate limits of the city shall first make application for a license to do so to the city clerk, which application shall set forth in writing the following facts:

    (1)

    The date of the application.

    (2)

    The name of the applicant.

    (3)

    The address of the applicant.

    (4)

    The proposed site of the well including the drilling block number, city lot and block number.

    (5)

    The name of the fee owner.

    (6)

    The name of the lease owner.

    (7)

    The type of derrick desired to be used.

    (b)

    This application shall be placed and kept of record by the city clerk as a part of the public records of the city.
